Positive: We had a fantastic stay at this lovely chalet just outside Edinburgh. We stayed as a family of three (2 adults and a 4-year-old), and it was the perfect base for exploring both the city and the surrounding areas. The chalet has real countryside charm while still being very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hired a car which made getting around easy, but there are also plenty of beautiful walks right from the doorstep, along with good transport links nearby. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located place to stay near Edinburgh.
Negative: The only minor point was that during the heatwave it was quite warm at night, but that’s to be expected in such unusually hot weather and didn’t take away from our stay.
